I was born in 1976 before the only child policy. My mother wanted a girl, I’m the youngest of four brothers… As I was a good student I went to university. If you work well you can choose what to do. After three years in Jingxi studying finance and economy at a university I found a job in Canton. To improve my salary I changed firms often… One day I walked past the Alliance Française and decided to learn French. It hadn’t occurred to me to go to France, only to learn another language. I studied for five years and then I decided to live something different, and I went… I got married before I went to France alone in October 2004. We had been together for five years without cohabiting. My husband helps me a little financially… Marriage is a protection. When you get married… you’re a family… I consider my husband’s thoughts; I call him every day… I treat him like my brother, or father… In June 2005 I got enrolled at the XII Paris University. I got my degree, master 1 and am preparing my master 2… I’m also doing an internship on commercial assistance. It is a small commercial firm… I like it a lot. For me it isn’t difficult to be separated from my husband… time flies and life is very short… I have to make the most of it to fulfill my dreams… I think I’m independent… In the past I wanted to have a baby right away… now I prefer to wait so as not to interrupt my professional life. When I go back to China I’ll be able to do it better… Do things for my family.
