Victor M. Fernández

  • Madrid, 1978. Completes studies in Photography in 1999. Since then, he has participated in several workshops and seminaries with artists like Daniel Canogar and Jean Luc Moulène. He has done works for institutions and companies (ARCO Feria de Arte Contemporáneo, Comunidad de Madrid and Ministry of Culture); he has been technical assistant to photographers like Rosa Muñoz and Jesús Alonso, among others. In 2007 his project "VACÍO" won the Photography Scholarship of the Ministry of Culture and the Scholarship for Creation of the Lille Transphotographiques Festival, where he presented his first solo exhibition. At the moment his works is part of collections like the one of Colegio de España in Paris and the Maison de la Photographie Nord-Pas in Calais. He has published in several books and catalogues like "Ideas y propuestas para el Arte en España" (edited by the Ministry of Culture) and "Through the eyes of new photographers" (Ed. Artnow). Currently he combines his professional activity with artistic creation and is co founder of the project More Than Photography.
