Aylin Turnator

  • I was born in Istanbul in 1970. I worked in international textile, finance and construction companies for many years and left corporate life in 2021. I started taking photographs during the pandemic and joined 10 Logos Photography Group. I still produce photography projects as a member of this group. I am awarded in 2021 with “Objects Abandoned By Their Subjects”, in 2022 with “Metropolis”, in 2023 with “Femicide” projects. In 2021, one of my photographs was exhibited in a gallery in Tehran, and the same year, I was awarded as the second best photographer of the year in black & white category in an international competition.

Photography has become a way of capturing and documenting the moments I experience, the people I encounter in my travels, and the images that impact me. This year I am working on new portfolios in which I’m transforming my photographs with different techniques and give them new meanings.
