For lack of a fatherly figure, José Miguel took on this role during his whole life in front of his two younger brothers. One of them, also a military, remains in the army. The other one, portrayed in the picture, is the current president of the Association of Victims of the Yak-42 (Asociación Víctimas del Yak-42). They both wanted to bury their brother, but another family that scattered his ashes in Cabo de Palos, Murcia incinerated him.
