Madrid 2... going inside.*

Suite from "Madrid, There is no beauty without words."
It wasn’t Madrid, the Republic’s city full of hopes, nor the heroic one from the civil war, not even the Madrid from “la Movida”.
It was the dull and boring Madrid from before the crisis, when almost everybody’s main concern was the mortgage, the new car and the trips to Ikea.
The four of them tried to live without paying attention to reproaches, those that they did to themselves, but above all those from others… even when they knew that the gods laughed behind them.
Even so they persisted tenaciuously.
